Family Tree Clinic is a safe and welcoming medical home. In November 2021, we opened our beautiful new facility, which can serve up to 33,000 individuals annually – 10,000 more people than our previous location. The move was part of a capital campaign to build a new home to help us meet demand.

Located at 1919 Nicollet Ave in Minneapolis, the 16,545 sq. ft. new building was designed with input from hundreds of patients, staff, Board, and community stakeholders. The trauma-informed, light-filled space is double the size of Family Tree's previous clinic.
The first floor features a welcoming atrium and lobby, work and gathering spaces, and an integrative health wing for collaborative community care on the ground floor.
The second floor includes the clinic waiting area, exam rooms, lab, offices, and flex space. In addition, the building incorporates five murals by local BIPOC artists. With our education and medical services, MN Family Planning + STD Hotline, and LGBTQ Health Access Initiative, we know how to tailor our services to meet the diverse needs of our community.
The new clinic is easy to get to! It’s close to major freeways, and the 2, 17, and 18 Metro Transit bus routes stop nearby. Free patient parking spaces are available in the lot right next to the building. We hope to see you soon.
