Health Education and Services for the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing

Family Tree Clinic provides sexual health and family planning services, information and education for the Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing communities. Our Health Educators Denise Anderson and Judy Klopp are fluent in ASL and have many years of experience working with Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing people. They provide information, education and other prevention services to a wide range of Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing groups and individuals in the clinic and statewide. Denise and Judy provide health advocacy to those who would like this service.
Sexuality and family planning education includes information and education on the following topics:

P.A.S.E. (Parents As Sexuality Educators)

A special program called Parents As Sexuality Educators (P.A.S.E.) can provide Deaf, DeafBlind and Hard of Hearing parents of deaf and/or hearing children and hearing parents of deaf children with information on sexuality education. Educators present information in the form of 2-4 hour workshops. All services (of this department) are free of charge.
