Alison Warford, M.D.

• Alison Warford, MD, Medical Director, graduated from Wright State University School of Medicine as a family practice doctor. She completed a fellowship in adolescent medicine at the University of Minnesota and Hennepin County Medical Center. Dr. Warford is Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at the University of Minnesota, Medical Provider & Medical Director at Face to Face Health and Counseling Services, and Medical Provider at CUHCC (Community-University Health Care Center). Dr. Warford joined Family Tree Clinic in May of 2009.

I live in St. Paul, and feel connected to my neighborhood, and the cultural life of the Twin Cities. I volunteer as a costume and mask maker for both a local elementary school and the May Day Parade. I love to be outside – camping, gardening and hiking – or in my basement making mosaics. I’m happiest when my house is full of kids.”

In addition to my work at Family Tree, I work at a local Public Health Agency providing education and support to pregnant and parenting teenagers and I teach nursing at Saint Catherine University. While I enjoy working with women of all ages, I do have a special interest in adolescent health. Outside of work, I enjoy numerous activities: running, volleyball, water skiing, hiking, biking, gardening and reading. My most favorite activity is spending time with family and friends.”
