Kadie Fredell, RN

  • Personal profile: “I love my job as the Nurse Manager for Family Tree Clinic and am blessed to work with a passionate health care team that truly enjoys their jobs!  After obtaining my nursing license in 2008, I worked for two years as a Labor and Delivery nurse and then another two years as a Clinic and Triage Nurse for Planned Parenthood.  I think that understanding how our bodies function is empowering and providing patient education is one of the things I enjoy the most.  Prior to going to nursing school, I worked at a homeless shelter in Mexico and then in Texas, and I also served as the volunteer manager at Ten Thousand Villages in St. Paul.  Outside of work, I spend a lot of time canoeing, gardening, tending to my Australian Shepard and honeybees, hosting backyard barbeques and bonfires, and following Big Ten basketball.”

She subsequently worked for four years at the University of Minnesota and at a variety of community clinics in the Twin Cities and Oakland, CA.Her special interests include holistic medicine and empowering patients to take an active part in their own health and healing.
